For the roads in-between the beaten path.

Somewhere in the middle space, between road and mountain, between racing and adventure, there is allroad riding. And Mavic built the ideal wheel system to roll through that space and connect the roads in-between: the Ksyrium Pro Allroad Disc Clincher System. The wheel system combines everything Mavic knows about road wheels, mountain wheels, disc-optimized spokes and hubs and tubeless technology.

Mavic's Ksyrium Wheel systems leverage Mavic's research to pair the right tire size with the right rim size – in this case a 28mm Yksion Elite Guard mounted on a 19 mm internal-width rim, optimized for the best bead seat and the best tire shape once inflated. The rims are UST tubeless-ready with ISM 4D milling to reduce unnecessary material while maximize strength. FORE spoke-threading technology raises the rim bridge up around the spoke hole to allow the nipple to thread directly to the rim and keep the bridge intact and strong. Disc-optimized Isopulse hubs and Zircal spokes ensure that the wheels don't lose anything in strength and durability due to the added stress of disc braking.

The Yksion Elite Guard tires are built to handle gravel or paved riding, but optimized for rides with more tarmac than gravel. A supple 120 tpi casing helps smooth out rough rides and Griplink and Powerlink front and rear-specific tires put a little softer dual-compound in the front tire for extra cornering grip and a harder dual-compound in the rear for extra speed.

The wheels are tastefully finished off with low-key graphics so you don't stand out like a sore thumb in the rustic terrain these wheels belong in.

1,620 g without tires. Recommended tire size: 28-40 mm. SUP arc-welded rim joint. 24-spoke front, 28-spoke rear. Front wheel is 15 mm, 12 mm and quick release compatible. Rear is 12 mm thru and quick release compatible. Includes specific disc bolts and multifunction adjustment wrench for spoke, nipple and bearing adjustment.

Included Yksion Elite Guard tires are not tubeless compatible.

Mavic rims and hubs, lots of flexibility for all possible wheel set ups. My set up came with 30mm tires and I set up my Litespeed Gravel grinder with these using 15 mm thru in front and 12 mm through axle in the rear. Now getting the various end cap set ups to work is not easy and there are no instructions. It is really just brute force to get the end caps off and to replace with the configuration you need. The tires are soft and I had two flats pretty quickly. However, the mavic tires were tubeless and I have converted to tubeless and no flats since. With the 30 mm tires the wheels since a bit heavy, but hey I am also riding over dirt roads. I am running 70psi pressure and I think that is key for these wheels to run lower pressure, otherwise you will get some flats as the tires are pretty spread out with the 19 mm internal width rims. Overall I like these wheels and they look great too.

These wheels are rugged, fast, and light. Perfect for serious gravel like the Dirty Kanza 200. Mine are set up for thru axles. I've never had any problems - never a wheel out of true. And they look great, too.
