The Lezyne Digital Shock Drive Pump is an incredibly compact and lightweight aluminum construction.
The ultra low-profile Digital Strip Gauge is built into the side and the design keeps pump extremely compact, yet highly accurate. This perfect mountain bike pump provides up to 350 psi (24 bar) and has a cleverly integrated hose that threads into the handle when not in use. The lezyne digital shock is very compact and easy to carry if you're trying to dial in your suspension on a ride. I had a regular fox shock pump and nothing was wrong but just wanted an accurate read. The lezyne is easy to use and seems accurate. The battery takes a coin battery CR1220 and i found some spares on Amazon.
This pump is extremely well designed and very user friendly. It is compact which makes it excellent for on trail adjustments, especially when you are setting up new suspension or a new bike. It is easy to use an the digital gauge allows you to dial in pressures very precisely. It looks great too!
The pump is the perfect size. Small enough to carry on a ride to do setups and changes. Well built. The only thing that could be better is turning of the unit. It will auto shutoff but I back the battery cap out till its off for sure. I also keep a spare with me as the battery is tiny and they don't last as long asl the larger coin batteries. If I had to do it again I would buy this one
I had an old analog shock pump for years. It was great except it wasn�t. It was not until I got this pump did I realize how important a shock pump can be. Being at just the right pressure really helps with set up and just Staying consistent. It is also small enough to keep in your pocket or bag and make Trail side adjustments.
The DIgital Shock Drive is really nice when it comes to dialing in a consistent pressure on forks. On rear suspension, this level of precision is less important. What *is* more important on rear suspension is having the leverage to get up to the max pressure. The pump is "rated" for 350psi, but the physical effort to pump it up gets really harsh around 240psi. I had to switch to this pump's analog cousin to have the leverage to get my shock up to 255 psi. That shouldn't be necessary.
