Katadyn claims their Micropur MP1 Water Purification Tablets (30 Pack) are the only EPA registered water purification tablets on the market and the only water disinfecting system effective against bacteria, viruses, Giardia, and cryptosporidium. Each tablet treats 1 Liter of water, requiring 4 hours of treatment for effectiveness.
The MP1 tablets are easy to use, don't leave an aftertaste, and can effectively treat water that's clear, cloudy, and extremely dirty.
