Description Light, Agile, & Ready For Rough Descents
Indroducing the Industry Nine 1/1 Enduro S Carbon 29" Wheelset — made by one of the most trusted MTB wheel builders in the industry.
Industry Nine wheels are handbuilt in Asheville, North Carolina in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Their team of bicycle wheel builders test their products in the techy, steep trails that sprawl from their warehouse doorstep. The result is extraordinary.
The 1/1 Enduro S Carbon is a highlight from their recent collection — lightweight, agile and durable, featuring a carbon fiber rim, steel spokes, and I9's 1/1 hub.
The 1/1 hub is entry-level for I9 but it far exceeds its competitors in terms of bearing sturdiness and freehub engagement. In fact, it's made with the same bearing and axle upgrades as the I9 Hydra, which is woven into I9's highest-end models.
The biggest difference between the Hydra and the 1/1 hubs is the freehub body. The Industry Nine Hydra has 690 Points Of Engagement (P.O.E.) at 0.54-degrees while the 1/1 hub has 90 P.O.E at 4-degrees. That being said, the 1/1 hub feels (and sounds) amazing, providing an excellent conduit between your pedaling power and the force applied to your rear wheel.
The 1/1 Enduro-S Carbon Wheelset was designed for all-mountain to enduro riding and features a 31mm inner diameter and a 36mm outer diameter. It is compatible with 2.3"-2.8" tires.
