Very pleased with the Touareg gravel tire

My 2020 gravel bike came stock with a no-name tire brand. The tires where set-up with tubes, but were supposedly tubeless compatible. I did the conversion to tubeless, but the stock rear tire didn't last a day. That's on me and I needed replacement tires. I read a positive review on the Touareg from the UK and chose their 700c x 40mm, mainly because they fit under my SKS Speedrocker fenders. Note that the 45mm width is too large for fenders. I have ridden the tires on asphalt and gravel. I've put more miles in on the road and actually like the cushioned feel for road use. So far I have had no flats and I would purchase them again. I don't notice the weight 'penalty' that some complain about. Overall I've been very pleased.

Really good tire, price seems reasonable. Had a few punctures in 2k miles but they self sealed. Gotta love it.

Good tire for gravel and bad roads. A bit heavy, but I'm satisfied.
