The Handspun Shimano 105 / DT Swiss R500 Front Disc Wheel is a durable, tubeless-ready, hand-built wheel made handle anything you throw at it. It's been perfectly tensioned, trued, and stress relieved for superior strength, so you can feel confident taking it off the tarmac and onto wherever the gravel and dirt roads may lead you.

The DT Swiss R500 rim features a machined braking surface and tubeless-ready construction, while the the 5800 series Shimano 105 hub is celebrated for its reliability and easy to service thanks to its loose ball bearing design. DT Swiss Champion straight gauge spokes and with DT Swiss brass nipples complete this trustworthy wheel.

FREE Cassette Installation - Order a cassette along with a wheelset and we can install the cassette for free. Cassette installation requires special tools that not all our customers have. The cassette will be professionally installed and torqued to spec. Just add "Please install cassette" to your order notes at checkout and we'll take care of you.

I bought these DT Swiss wheels as backup set for the DT Swiss wheels I am using. So far they are fine but they are heavier than my originals.
