    Use the knee pads every time I hit the PNW trails. I have short stocky legs and have a tough time fitting most slip on pads. I have size large and I have the velcro straps at the very end and they are still snug at 5'8" and 185lbs. They are on the warm side but have already saved my knee from a crash...If they fit, they're definitely worth it.
