Reviews
I park my bike in my small apartment and was tired of cleaning handlebar marks off the wall where I leaned my bike. This is small and low profile so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I might even say it's attractive. I have a hybrid bike with big tires which seems to work well. I also have a rear rack with a basket on one side which must be empty or the bike will fall over. Finally I have learned that I must pay attention to how I line up the rear tire with the front (unlike the sales video) or it will fall over or lean the bike into the wall. Aside from these small issues I feel it is still the best option for my needs given the alternatives.
I use this just as a temp stand to hold bikes while I lube chains, pump tires, and get them set up for the day's ride. Works for our singles and (carefully) for our tandem. Would be nice if it had a little more lateral stability, but on the plus side it fits all bike tires from race, to commuter, to mtn bike widths. It's really handy.
It's great to have these as a temporary place to keep your bike upright, or permanently if you have the floorspace. The racks fit together easily, but my only negative is that they disconnect from each other very easily as well.
These are the best racks that I have used to date. Every rack that I have used on a 29er will not hold a bike up with just one rack. This has been the only exception!!! I would highly recommend this rack to anyone who wants a high quality rack and doesn't mind spending the money, this rack is for you. By the way I liked these racks so much I bought six of them!!!
We use this stand for a couple of bikes in our garage. It works well for keeping them upright but it isnt as easy as wed like for getting them into the rack. We like to back our bikes into the rack but this requires steering the bike with one hand while lifting the arm on the rack with the other hand. We prefer our more conventional fixed racks over these racks.
I have wall racks but I also have gotten a couple of Rakk stands for the bikes that stay in the rotation. Easy in and out and the mechanism holds thinner road tires more securely than you would think. The best part is they are fully assembled out of the box. Just unfold and begin using. Another quality product from Feedback.
I use a few of these in my garage to hold the bikes i use regularly. It's easy and fast getting bikes in and out of the stands and, because these stands hold the bikes vertically (no leaning that would cause the front wheel to turn), the stands allow me to store the bikes closer together, saving space.
This stand is well designed in that it is sturdy, holds the bike securely, folds up when not in use to save space and not get in the way, plus with the addition of additional units, its expandable to hold the entire fleet. After all Who reading this has only one bike?
