Robust 3-layer ExoShell40™ fabric delivers breathability and durable weather protection when you need it most. Fully sealed seams block out the cold and wet while an elasticated waistband, fitted with moisture-wicking inner lining and a stretch shock cord, delivers added security and stability. The Clickfast™ compatibility and small pack size allow these pants to fit almost anywhere.
The GV500 trousers have a durable seat panel and water-repellant zippers at the ankle for comfort on a long trail. The waterproof finish is PFC-free, so you can enjoy your ride without any rain or sleet to slow you down.

I�m 5�8�, 33-34� waist and 30� inseam and use a size L. I wear these over work pants (medium thickness chino style typically) and the L works perfectly. I love the ankle zippers for a good fit over my winter cycling shoes when zipped down, and when zipped up I can easily remove the pants over my cycling shoes. No leaks at all during rainy commutes, and they breath well to minimize any condensation inside. I love the cut, with a high back to protect against rain from getting in. I would not hesitate to buy these again.
I like the fit of GV500 trousers better than some other rain pants that I have. It's a tighter fit, but still enough room to go over other regular fit pants like Levi's 501 jeans. Water resistance is pretty good. Packability is OK if you bring your own Velcro cinch straps, though there are more compact packing options from GoreWear. I wish these had a zipper fly and pockets.
