Bang for your buck.

As Easton's top aluminum seatpost, the EA70 Zero offers an impressive strength-to-weight ratio at just a fraction of price of its carbon counterparts. This model features no setback.

Much of this balance can be attributed to Easton's EA70 aluminum, a material constantly refined to offer outstanding durability with minimal weight sacrifice. Easton is able to lighten the load further using Taperwall™ technology, a process which removes excess material without sacrificing durability. The forged head and two bolt clamp provide easy adjustment, additional weight savings and plenty of clearance.

The EA70 Zero Seatpost is available in 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters. 400mm length. No offset. Black Ano. Claimed weight: 285g (31.6 x 400mm).

I have this seatpost with use of a seatpost rack made by blackburn. I can carry pizzas or sandwich platters easily and securely hopefully. I do not see this lightweight aluminum breaking.
