My husband LOVES his UnDShurts!

My husband rides his road bike year round and uses his UnDShurt as a base layer during cold weather rides. He also wears it when he goes deer hunting. I just purchased a 3rd UnDShurt for him because the other two are always in the laundry-he wears them so frequently. Although the shirt fabric is very light weight, it has held up to many launderings. The underarms of the older two shirts have some staining from perspiration, but that hasn't affected the wear or been a major concern to my husband. He says the UnDShurt is the perfect weight-he stays warm but doesn't feel overheated.

For intended purposes to keep warm and dry, this base layer does its job. However, for the price per quality, it's not worth the price. I can get a Castelli for a few bucks more with better fabric and workmanship. The only selling point of this base layer is Made in USA.

This is a great base layer. I have used in multiple rolls cycling, hiking, sailing and just to wear around the house to take the chill off. I found that it works surprisingly well in keeping the wind from penetrating to the skin too. Extremely comfortable. I bought it on sale but would get another when this one wears out.

I would consider it a great baselayer, but the long sleeves are too baggy. Comfortable, snug on the body. I would recommend not washing with anything with velcro on it. The velcro would snag the fabric.

Stay warm and dry with DeFeet Un D Shurt Long Sleeve

I have used it as a base layer for many outdoor activities. From cycling to fly fishing, the shirt is nice and soft and very comfortable. It does seem to develop a lot of static electricity, which makes other clothes clingy when you wear it. But as a base layer for warmth and moisture wicking it does the job very well. The fit is comfortable and it is long enough to stay tucked it. If you are looking for a well made moisture wicking base layer shirt you won't be disappointed. Hopefully static was only due to the dry fall conditions.

Good first layer for chilly weather riding
rating

This is the first layer for chilly riding days and I've found it to be comfortable and cool enough for wearing under a short-sleeve jersey on days of 60-70 degrees, and not uncomfortable even if it warms up beyond that.

Somewhat pricey - but excellent base layer for fall, winter, and spring. Its durable and ends up being well worth the price.

keeps me warm and dry in the winter

I deliver papers every morning and have sworn by a certain type of insulated long sleeve undershirt for warmth during the winter. It can get cold riding around at 4 in the morning with the temperature at 25 F and colder with the windows rolled down. I purchased my first DeFeet long sleeve shirt for bike riding during the winter months 3 years ago and found out how warm it will keep you while bike riding. I started wearing it when I deliver papers and now I will not wear anything else. I don't have to use as many layers to keep warm when I wear the DeFeet as a base layer. It is thinner and easier to wear while working. No more cotton or polyester blend insulated undershirts for me.
