Ready to session.
Dakine's Session 8L Hydration Pack doesn't mind holding all your gear while you take a little time for yourself down the mountain. It includes a 2L hydration reservoir with a high-flow Blaster bite valve and magnetic hose clip for convenient access on the fly, and the pack sets up comfortably thanks to breathable air mesh on the back panel and shoulder straps. Inside, there's plenty of organization for tubes, tools, and nutrition with several internal pockets, plus fleece-lined phone and sunglass pockets. A removable waist belt plus sternum strap keep everything secure while riding, and rugged Armor carry straps are handy for off-the-bike portage.

I needed a small pack for commuting. Since it is designed for rugged treatment it fit the bill for carrying basic essentials. I do not use it for hydration but it is covenient if I need to. My biggest complaint is that it rest on your back not allowing for ventilation. This problem is minimal on cool morning rides but can be uncomfortable as the temperature rises.
