Magnificent.

The Cycleops Mag+ Trainer includes a handlebar mounted resistance adjuster so you can change your workout intensity on the fly. The magnetic operation provides a linear resistance curve that gets harder as you shift down your cassette, which is multiplied using the 5-setting handlebar remote so you can dial in your effort for every workout. Its sturdy frame houses a machined 2" alloy roller that's adjustable for tires from 26" to 29" in diameter and up to 2" in width.

Compatible with 120 mm, 130 mm, and 135 mm rear frame spacing. Includes steel quick-release skewer. Lifetime warranty.

Good mid-range trainer

Chicago

I got this so I could start ramping up my training during the nasty parts of the winter in Chicago. A real life saver when youre trying to gear up for another RAGBRAI in the summer. The resistance wont match more than a low-grade hill, but its enough to get my blood pumping for some decent cardio and indoor conditioning.

Noise is definitely a factor, but its not so terrible that I cant hear Netflix or music when Im cruising- granted that I have the volume up higher than normal. If you want something that runs quiet, this probably isnt your trainer. For my needs, the price and resistance are just what I wanted.
