Y-shaped usability.

In a pinch, having functional tools can make the difference between finishing the ride and utter frustration. Crank Bros forgoes the cramped design of most multi-tools and puts utility first with their Y12 Tool that uses interchangeable bits and two Y-wrenches. Their flat design slips easily into a hydration pack or jersey pocket, and the wrenches store magnetically when placed in the plastic carrying frame. A self adhesive patch kit is stored inside one of the three compartments situated on the outside, while the other two sides carry the interchangeable bits and personal storage.

Claimed weight is 166 g.

Included tools are:

  • Hex Wrenches: #2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8
  • Screwdrivers: Phillips #2, Flat #2
  • Torx: T-25, T-10

This is an awkward tool that is bulky and not that light either. Tool variety is nil. I should have returned it but it was on sale

Great little tool with quick access

The tools are easy to access and use. It is very well made. Typical Crank Bros quality.

The little compartments are not very useful and the overall package is bulky. This is not the kit i put in my saddle bag. BUT, if am going on a 'tune-up' ride where i am going to be making quick and small changes to the seat or bars, i grab this one

This tool is a little large for small bicycle saddlebags but it is perfect for the toolbox. All the tools are well made fit together nicely. I found that it is perfect for small adjustments on my motorcycle
