I replaced the oem tires on my grandkids' Giant and Specialized bikes with these...16", 20" and 24" bikes. I did so as a prophylactic measure, because it seems that typically the oem tires on kids' bikes are usually not of the highest quality. Long story short, these kids abuse their bikes and have not had a single puncture in over two years. That says it all.

I felt the reputation of CONTINENTAL tires was worth the wait. Being a casual bicycle user, I thought I only needed to consider the standard dimensions,(like 16" x 1.75") Found out later that beyond that information I needed to know the circumference measurement as well. The front fender does not allow for a more rounded tire profile.

Excellent for coaster brakes

My kid has a 16" bike, and no knobby tire stands up to the abuse of a coaster brake, especially in hilly conditions. These hold up great to the abuse and the central spine doesn't wear down nearly as quickly as knobbies.
