Description

A City Tire You Can Rely On

The Continental Ride City 700c Tire is the perfect option for anyone who needs to get around town and can't be bothered to worry about a flat or slipping around a wet corner. The Continental Ride City does exactly what the name suggests — it rides really well in the city.

With its reflective sidewall strip and ExtraPuncture Belt, the Ride City has exceptional safety features. The reflective strip helps riders be seen by motorists during low light times of the day. The ExtraPuncture Belt, combined with the rubber-reinforced sidewalls of the tire, ensures a high level of puncture protection and sidewall abrasion.

The tread pattern rolls fast, yet grips around corners with the deep sidewall siping. Continental states that this tire is suitable for tarmac and gravel paths due to its excellent traction.

Features

  • Reliable tires for town and city bicycles and also suitable for touring bikes
  • Remarkable traction from the tire's large contact patch with the ground and tread siping
  • ExtraPuncture Belt provides puncture protection and tire reliability
  • Reflective sidewall for maximum visibility in low light
  • Clincher Wirebead

I have lived in Las Vegas for the past 20years. My road bike tires are usually cut to sherds long before the tread wears out. I bought a fitness bike and installed these Continental Ride city tires. I am impressed. I have just over 1700 miles on the tires and hardly any wear is showing. They also smooth out rough roads. I will admit I suffer on the hills. they are not the lightest tires. But I bought them for durability and in that category they are five star tires.

Comfortable, Quiet Ride

I have set up two hybrid bikes with these tires, and in 700x37 size, they are delightful. The comfort level is a major improvement over the original equipment tires, and they are quiet, smooth rolling, and grippy. I have Contis on most of my road bikes and find them quite durable, so I would expect the same from these, and the flat protection belt is an added bonus here in Arizona.

I purchased these tires for my wife's commuter bike and they have been great ! I won't say the "F" word because I don't want to "jinx" her, but she has been riding these for many tough New York City miles and hasn't had one yet... Highly recommended !

I bought these for a cruiser and they seem to work very well. I dont care about weight at all and they do their job. Roll smooth and ride well.
