Description

One versatile clincher to ride all season.

Challenge's Grifo Open tire features the tried-and-true Grifo tread pattern, with low-profile knobs that are not only great on fast grass courses and hard-packed gravel and dirt, but aggressive enough for serious mud. Plus, at 300 threads per inch, the tire is remarkably supple, so you can focus on your race instead of the harshness of the terrain. 700c x 33mm.

Note: This tire is somewhat confusingly labeled as an 'Open Tubular.' It fits standard clincher rims.

Excellent Tubeless Tire
rating

These tires are excellent. Mounting these tires will have you breaking tire levers and questioning your existence. But when they're mounted and working, these tires are hard to beat. Surprising durability compared to how soft and grippy they feel. Tan sidewalls will discolor permanently after a few muddy or dirty races, but that's fine. Would recommend, but get help with mounting.

Great all around cross tire

Fast tire on hard pack and grass. Not stellar in the mud or sand, but still steady on gravel rides. A mate pairs this with a mud tire up front but I'm running them front and rear.
