The Ultimate Liner Bib
Created to be the ultimate liner beneath technical overshorts. Castelli's Unlimited Ultimate Liner Bibshort features the supremely comfortable Progetto X2 Air seamless chamois insert in the coolest minimalist short, with three pockets on the back.
First and foremost, this short features the top-of-the-line Progetto X2 Air seamless seat pad. The pad has two separate components: a soft, stretchy Skin Care Layer that coddles your skin, and a separate cushioning layer with dual-density foam and gel pads for progressive damping. A chamois only works if it stays put, so Castelli constructed the hip area in a compressive Force fabric, which holds the pad in place while providing good ventilation.
The legs are light and airy with perforated fabric to keep you cool, and are held in place by a gauze-like Giro Air elastic. The beauty of this leg construction is that you can adjust the length to your preference — so they're long enough to keep your baggy short from rubbing against your leg, for example.
Likewise, the top of the short is an exercise in minimalism. The front of the thin bib straps is an open knit that lets air flow right through, while the back is also narrow to stay cool. However, reinforced yokes ensure the straps stay in the right place and won't bunch up.
On the back, just above the height of the waist of your baggy, there are three pockets so you can wear this short with a T-shirt and still have space to stow your gear.

if castelli fits you this is a great liner! the perforated legs are super comfortable, the chamois is top notch. the upper bib is the more aggressive version of their bibs in material and straps which is aggressive but they melt to your body and disappear until a nature break. the three pockets in back are amazing. these are racy liners and comfortable on the bike, but not much for standing around chatting.
