If your riding extends to subfreezing temperatures, the Sorpasso 2 Wind Bibtight from Castelli is the tight for you. Made for when cold conditions come knocking, this tight shares the Sorpasso name with Castelli's best tight for cool conditions. The front is full Gore® Windstopper® down to just past the knees. The lower legs and backside are in Nano Flex Xtra Dry, which keeps much of the wind out while providing a high level of splash protection when you're riding on wet roads. And finally, Castelli used Thermoflex Core2 on the back of the legs, offering good stretch with excellent warmth and wicking.
Castelli features a Euro-inspired fit pattern, and as such we recommend sizing up one size from other brands. For example, if you wear a medium jersey in other brands, it's recommended to buy a size large in Castelli.
- Gore® Windstopper® X-Fast front protection from waist to knee.
- Thermoflex Core2 fabric at back of legs for warmth with outstanding wicking.
- Nano Flex Xtra Dry water-repellent back panel and lower legs for maximum stretch.
- Lumbar support pad makes this tight lock in around the waist for optimal fit.
- Reflective side panel.
- Progetto X2 Air seat pad for comfort and improved airflow.
- YKK Camlock ankle zippers with reflective tape for high visibility.
- Weight: 359g.

Comfortable and warm
by Old and in the way
I hate riding on a trainer so need warm clothes when winter comes. I have only worn them once. It was in the low 40's and I was comfortable and was leaning toward the too warm side. I am very happy with them. I am 6' and 165 pounds and the XL fit me well. Castelli bibs run on the tight side and I normally wear a large. The XL is comfortable rather than tight. The bib straps are stretchy and very comfortable. Highly recommend these bibs for cold weather riding.
