Description A Light Layer With Heavy Duty Action
When you need some protection from the cool air but not enough to bring out the winter jacket, you know it's time for the Castelli Alpha RoS 2. This light jacket is all about the art of dressing just right for cool conditions.
Wind protection comes from lightweight Gore-Tex Infinium™ Windstopper® 150 two-way-stretch fabric that moves with you. A separate ProSecco Strada inner layer backs this up, with a separate zip for perfect ventilation control. The back is made from Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric for membrane-free insulation that allows sweat to escape. Featuring easy-sliding YKK® zippers, reflective drain holes on the pockets, and a lie-flat silicone gripper band around the waist for ultimate comfort.
The concepts behind the Alpha RoS 2 are fairly simple — wind protection on front-facing surfaces, highly breathable fabrics on back-facing surfaces, and all-around water repellency in case you get a few drops of rain.
Features:
Gore-Tex Infinium™ Windstopper® 150 fabric on front and sleeves
Nano Flex Xtra Dry on back for added moisture-moving ventilation
Alpha double-layer construction separates windproof layer from insulation layer
ProSecco Strada inner layer for lightweight insulation with moisture management
Double YKK® Vislon® front zippers
Front zippered pocket plus 3 rear pockets with reflective laser-cut drain holes
Raw-edge waist lies flat and moves with you

Overall great quality

Have only worn once or twice because I bought it on sale at the end of the season. Seems a little warmer than just a "light" jacket, but I like it so far. We'll see as the weather cools...
