Chamois Dry Lube
Moist skin is softer and more susceptible to abrasion, as any rider who has done a long race in the rain can attest. Castelli's dry lube reduces friction without weakening the skin through moisturizers. Castelli also use 100% natural tea tree oil for antibacterial and antimicrobial properties to help prevent infections and saddle sores.

Castelli has been developing their skin care products for almost two years, fine-tuning the ingredients and testing the various versions on a panel of riders The partnership with several skincare experts has allowed Castelli to develop unique products while ensuring that the product formulas are both effective and safe.
Castelli tested multiple different versions of the creams to get just the right performance. A group of cyclists blind tested these creams along with leading competitors products, and the final versions of the Linea Pelle products were the top-ranked products in these tests for almost all the testers.
Castelli makes any effort to avoid any ingredients that can irritate the skin or damage technical cycling fabrics. Many of the ingredients are natural, avoiding any synthetic ingredients that are associated with potential health issues.
The packaging is important as well.
The tubes make it easy to get an exact amount of cream and are more hygienic than jars. The 100 ml size means you can fly with the tubes in your carry-on luggage.

I think this is the best chamois lube out there!! I live & ride in Hawaii, so every ride is a sweat fest exraordinaire!! Works best if you apply directly to skin I find, it will dry in the time it takes to walk from the bathroom sink to wherever you put your bibs on. Truly fantastic! I was a big Body Glide Cycle fan before I found this. Give it a try, may not be for everyone, but works really well for me. Not a fan of gooey chamois creams.
I was disappointed with this chamois cream. The advertising that it's dry and prevents friction is what enticed me, but it's just not thick enough to provide meaningful protection. I actually got a friction burn and quickly pivoted back to Chamois Butt'r.

This chamois lube is not up to the usual standard of other Castelli products. First, the container is hard to squeeze to get the contents to come out, the lube itself is rather stiff and hard to spread, then after the ride it really left a mess on the chamois pad in the shorts. I guess if you are one of those people who wash your shorts after every ride, then this wouldn't be a problem. It did wash out cleanly, I will give it that!
Otherwise, I was not impressed. I'll stick to my old tried and true Buttonhole chamois cream.
