The Shamal: Wide, Endurance-Oriented Gravel & All-Road Wheels

The Campagnolo Shamal Carbon Disc Brake Wheelset is the first Campagnolo design dedicated to endurance gravel and all-road cycling. With a 21 mm internal channel that can accommodate larger tires, these wheels ensure the rider's maximum comfort on races and long rides.

The Shamal was intended for a broader customer base, with a new, more accessible price point, but with every feature necessary to guarantee the maximum performance and style that characterize Campagnolo wheels.

The carbon rim has a unidirectional finish, differentiated front/rear profile, new Campagnolo aluminum hubs, and a cup-and-cone bearing system.

The profile of the rim, which has an internal diameter of 21mm, makes for a perfect pairing with 25, 28, and 30 mm tires. The wide channel, however, makes this wheel a complete all-rounder, also suitable for larger tires that are perfect for gravel biking.

Thanks to 2-Way Fit technology, Campagnolo guarantees complete compatibility with both clincher and tubeless tires. The hole-free upper bridge, achieved through the patented MoMag system, allows weight saving, increased rigidity, and now also aids in using tubeless tires: no tape is required for the seal.

Without the tape on the rim for tubeless set-ups, maintaining and cleaning the wheels during tire changes has never been easier.

Campagnolo has always been renowned for the reliability of their products — the G3 spoking system with double spokes on the left of the front wheel ensures balanced and safe braking in all conditions.

FREE Cassette Installation - Order a cassette along with a wheelset and we can install the cassette for free. Cassette installation requires special tools that not all our customers have. The cassette will be professionally installed and torqued to spec. Just add "Please install cassette" to your order notes at checkout and we'll take care of you.
