Description Bigger, Grippier, Lighter, And Tough As Ever
The Burgtec Penthouse MK5 Flat Pedal is here!
The prototype MK1 Penthouse Flat pedal debuted on the slopes of Schladming in 2003, inevitably paving the way for the MK2 in '07, the MK3 in '09 and the MK4 in '14. While much has changed in that time, Burgtec's focus towards building the toughest and grippiest flat pedals on the market remains the same.
The goal for the MK5 followed the same design and development path as its predecessors — to utilize any advances in materials and manufacturing, balance weight and durability, and maximize the grip. From the MK4 to the MK5, the pedals shed 65 grams per pair. The platform footprint was increased by 7%, the dish by 1mm and the pin width was decreased by 0.5mm.
