Description Made By Hand — Shaped By You
The Brooks B17 Narrow is a narrow racing saddle originally introduced in 1910. Built for the mile- and half-mile events, this saddle was the choice of track riders through to the 1960s. Handcrafted since 1866, the Brooks England workshops have been crafting iconic leather saddles for more than 150 years. This ultra-durable saddle is ideal for road cycling, track racing, and fixed-gear for maximum enjoyment.
Durability is delivered with ease thanks to the finest premium vegetable-tanned leather for strength, beauty, and reliability. Leather is a naturally breathable material that provides a unique type of well-being. The leather top is suspended over the saddle rail to create a suspended molded seat, similar to a hammock, tailored for lasting comfort. Journey after journey, this leather naturally molds to the unique shape of the rider for a more comfortable ride.
Like all Brooks Leather Saddles, the B17 Narrow is made by hand in the Smethwick, England factory with vegetable-tanned leather that will mold to the body and age beautifully over time. At once stylish, this bike seat is perfect for track cycling, urban fixed gear and for riders searching for a narrow bicycle saddle for pedaling freedom.

Breaking in new saddle

Have an older B17 and it is a "soft" ride and hoping this new one will soften up sooner than later. Up to about 2 hours riding it's getting there, for longer durations it's too stiff yet.
