Description Rough Roads, Smooth Sailing
For those XL epics that demand a little more. For discerning riders that go all-day (or night), chasing KOMs all the way. When "mixed-surface" rides mean all types of trails and dirt and pavement is just for cars. When you want a smooth, carbon ride, with light weight and no compromises, this is the wheel for you.
This is a wheel for adventuring, and that means getting out there - picking a journey and riding through to the end -- the Great Divide Route. The Oregon Outback. Colorado Trail. For pressing on when the tracks fade. Because single track looks enticing, even on drop bars, and rough roads lead to good things.
This wide 25mm internal hookless-carbon rim pairs best with 44mm to 2.4 inch tires.
Astral's pro wheel builders are also hardcore riders that know first-hand that a good adventure requires 100% commitment and gear up to the task and build these hoops to order, just for you.
