The ultimate weapon for demanding race conditions. Zipp's 303 Carbon Tubular Wheelset brings their high-tech Firecrest™ aerodynamics to a 45mm carbon rim for incredible weight savings, speed, and durability proven on the cobbles of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix.

The 45mm rim depth cuts through the wind without adding to much weight or handling poorly in crosswinds. To further reduce drag, the 303 Tubulars also features Zipp's ABLC™ (Aerodynamic Boundary Layer Control) technology. This refers to the dimples which are strategically placed on the rim's surface to promote smooth airflow over a wide variety of wind conditions.

However, the engineering doesn't stop there; Zipp has meticulously altered the rim profile for even more efficient performance. They call the new shape Firecrest™, which is consistently wider than their previous toroidal designs, and proven to offer superior aerodynamics, ride quality, strength, and handling characteristics.

VCLC™ (Visco-Elastic Constrained Layer Control) technology has also been incorporated into the rim design for increased strength and impact resistance. By placing a vibration-absorbing material between layers of rigid carbon laminate, Zipp has achieved a 10% reduction in vibration. This impact resistance is strengthened even more with Carbon Bridge™ technology, which places Kevlar® threads have been placed at the rim's edge for incredible strength, without a weight sacrifice.
