This is my favorite tire for fast club rides and serious training. I am a performance freak and have 6 bicycles, carbon, aluminum, titanium, and combination aluminumcarbon. The Record is the lightest, and quickest tire I've used. It's not the most durable, by aby means, and i try and avoid dirty roads whenever I can. After a hard downpour, the shoulders of the roads I bike in get very dirty with gravel, washout, and debris. I always flat in these conditions. The Records are a bit thin for these conditions. Next to the Vittoria UltraSpeeds, these feel the most akin to tubulars in ride quality and comfort.
