The Upstand allows you to park your bike anywhere, virtually eliminating the risk of damage caused by leaning your frame (and fragile components) against walls, fence posts, cars and other objects.
It's basically a removable and collapsible carbon fiber pole, which can easily be stored in a jersey pocket or gear bag. The Upstand is held in place using a small steel bracket, which is installed at the rear wheel's quick release skewer, and adds just 15g to your bike. An alloy cap and neodymium axial magnet secure the Upstand to the bracket, delivering rock-solid support, while allowing for speedy installation and removal.
The Upstand Bike Stand is designed for road bikes with 700c wheels. Each stand includes two tabs, allowing you to use the pole on two bikes without the need for additional hardware. The quick release bracket weighs 15 grams. The stand alone is 37 grams. Total product weight is 52 grams.
