I saw these and though that since I ride all winter long in the northeast, I needed to make myself as visible as possible. Adding handlebar lights seemed like a great idea and low cost. The first time I installed them I though I had a snug enough to keep them in my handlebar ends.
On my way home from work after riding only 9 miles with them, I turned a corner in traffic and out popped the light. By the time I was able to pick it up, the entire light was flatter, even the battery, and I was missing half the light. I took the other out and placed it in my pocket. At home, I added some electrical tape to take up the gap and installed the remaining light in my left handlebar. Works well and hasn't fallen out yet months later.
