Description
Change is good.
SRAM's revolutionary new Red Derailleur benefits from new Yaw technology. The unique cage rotates to maintain a consistent angular relationship with the chain, providing incredibly fast, accurate shifting while eliminating the need for trim. A slimmed down spring eliminates frame interference, and precision installation markings make it easy to dial-in the perfect set up.
SRAM has also addressed the issue of cage stiffness, using the combination of aluminum and steel to produce their strongest and most durable cage yet. An integrated chain spotter protects your frame without adding any extra clunk, and adjusts independently of the derailleur itself.
The SRAM Red Front Derailleur is available in braze-on only. Optional clamp adapters are sold separately. 76g (actual; braze-on). Compatible with standard or compact double cranksets. Recommended for use with SRAM's X Glide R chainrings used on the new Red crank.
