It's a really good looking, plain sock. It sits just above the ankle, making it exactly the right length for use under pants, tights or warmers. These would be great socks, except for the weave which has loose yarn on the inside of the sock. While not uncomfortable at all, it is easy to snag the loose yarns with your toes and damage the sock. In the end, I would not recommend them becuase of the construction.
