Description
Hit the road this Winter in the Sidi Hydro GTX. This road shoe offers many features straight from Sidi's performance road models, plus an insulating Neoprene cuff and breathable Gore-Tex membrane to keep feet warm and dry. Billowed tongue provides extra comfort and cold weather protection.
Additional features:
Millennium III carbon composite sole
Lorica upper
Three High Security Velcro® brand straps
Compatible with three-bolt road cleats Note: If you are using Shimano SPD-SL pedals, it is recommended that you use the Shimano SPD-SL 10mm cleat fixing bolt set as the standard 8.5mm Shimano bolts have a tendency to strip the threads of Sidi shoes.

Sidi Hydro GTX is my only shoe for winter riding. I have it in the Mt. bike version as well, but prefer the road shoe. The Hydro GTX is quite comfortable and roomy. Be careful in sizing. I normally wear a 42.5 in Sidi shoes (8.5-9 US size) and was naturally concerned whether the 42 sidi would be too small. 42 was perfect, plenty of room, even with a heavy wool sock, such as Defeet Woolie Boolie. I have ridden the Hydros in temperature ranges of high 30 degrees to mid 50 degrees. I usually add a toe cover in temps below 40.
