Description A staple of the pro 'cross and road circuit. Shimano's WH-7850-C50-TU Tubular Wheelset crosses the line first on the tarmac and off thanks to an incredibly durable, lightweight and aerodynamic construction.
The most prevalent feature are the massive 50mm carbon rims which slice the wind while simultaneously commanding stiff response and ensuring strength. Of course, the rims are still built on Shimano's coveted Dura-Ace hubs which feature serviceable and smooth angular contact bearings, plus oversized 15mm axle and super-wide rear flanges to further aid rigidity.
Traditional straight pull double butted/bladed spokes and red alloy nipples tie the whole system together for reliability and easy service. Titanium freehub body is Shimano/SRAM 8/9/10 speed compatible.
