Shimano has finally made cantilever brakes specifically for the rigors of cyclocross. The Ultegra lever CX70 brakes feature an open design for excellent stopping power and mud shedding. Forged construction for durability with light weight. Cartridge pad holders allow the use of any Shimano compatible brake pad insert. Additional washers are included to dial in a perfect fit with different rim widths. 159 grams each (weighed with mounting hardware, widest washers and straddle cable). Sold as front or rear.
