Description Shimano has finally introduced their first line of cyclocross-specific componentry and the CX50 is their 105 level crankset. It features 46 tooth and 36 tooth chainrings for and excellent off-road gear range. The shifting is also very fast thanks to precision Hyperdrive SG-X chainrings and the 10 tooth jump between rings which is less than road doubles. Still, the chain does not rub the other ring even when cross chaining. Hollowtech II crankarms are light, stiff, and durable. Compatible with Shimano and SRAM 10-Speed chains. Colors: Silver or Black. Weight: 806 grams (175; weighed without bottom bracket cups).
