Schwalbe's classic Big Apple has been updated for even better comfort and reliability. This extra-wide tire features an new, water channeling tread, a more pronounced profile and a RaceGuard puncture protection belt to ward off flats. Its 2.35 Inch width gives built-in suspension for serious comfort on rough roads and city streets. Great for larger riders or cargo bikes (310 lb max. rider weight).
The new Marathon Endurance rubber compound provides an even longer service life than the previous Big Apple. Schwalbe states that this tire is "E-Bike Ready," the whole Marathon range and the new Big Apple are suitable for use on most E-Bikes. However, these tires (except some Marathon sizes) do not carry the ECE designation required for some faster e-bikes.
