The Salsa Crossing Guard replaces the outer chaining on your crankset. It prevents the chain from dropping off the outside of your inner ring, making it perfect for brutal terrain and the most demanding courses. Not a bashguard. CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum construction. 5-bolt drilling in 110mm BCD or 130mm BCD. 44t max. chainring size. 65g.

Note: To help keep the chain from dropping off the inside of the inner ring (toward the frame), we recommend the 3rd Eye Chain Watcher.
