Description Pearl Izumi has taken two different fabrications of their Titanium WxB laminate to produce a pant that is truly innovative. The Elite Barrier WxB pant uses a double layer fabric in the upper area of the pant for freedom of movement and a triple layer in the legs for comfort. The 3- and 2-Layer Titanium laminate fabric is thermo-regulating , water-proof, breathable and has a stretch knit face and nylon tricot laminated laminated inside for moisture transfer and next to skin comfort. The seams are fully taped inside. The leg portion zips off just above the knee to turn them into a short when the weather gets warmer. Thigh vents help to regulate temperature and let out perspiration. The pant cuff has a volume reducing closure to keep the pant leg out of the drive-train. Abrasion patches are applied to high-wear areas. The waist band includes a draw cord with cordlock. Reflective elements for low-light visibility. Black.
