Excellent quality lockring removal tool for cassette installation and removal. Guide pin inserts into quick release axles to keep the tool in place during use. Tough heat treated steel construction. 1" hex base makes it easy to use with a box end wrench or bench vise. Installs or removes Shimano®, SRAM®, Sun Tour®, Chris King® and Sun Race® style lockrings. Also compatible with Shimano® disc brake lockrings. Cassette removal also requires a chain whip such as Park's SR-1 or SR-2 to hold the gear cluster in place. Not compatible with solid axle (bolt-on) hubs.
