This high performance studded tire is manufactured by Nokian in Finland using steel studs with carbide pins. With fewer studs and a narrower width than the other tires in the Nokian winter line, the A10 is specially engineered for a bit of extra speed without giving up reliable grip on ice and snow.
The Hakkapeliitta A10 features 72 studs placed at the shoulder area of the tread, and short, close-spaced knobs to lower rolling resistance without sacrificing cornering traction. The special gumwall casing also saves a bit of weight compared to Nokian's other winter tires while maintaining great wear resistance.
