Description
With a claimed 20 grams lighter than it's predecessor, the new Michelin Pro3 Race tire is the go-to tire for this year's racing season. The new dual-compound tread is derived from Michelin's Moto GP division and delivers 20% more grip over the Pro2 Race.
Michelin says the Moto GP compounds are also more deformable, helping maintain grip on coarser pavement while reducing rolling resistance. The new shoulder rubber offers a huge 40% improvement for cornering. As additional security, the Pro3 Race casing gets a new High Density Puncture Protection (HDPP) nylon belt. Total claimed weight for performance racing tires is a highly competitive 200 grams for the 700x23c size. 116 PSI Max.
We also now have the new Michelin Pro4 Service Course tire in stock which is replacing the Pro3 Race.

These tires ride extremely well and last longer than I'd expect from such a sticky compound. They feel fast and light and hold up fairly well against road debris. I've worn through a few sets now, so I'm pretty comfortable with they're performance and will definitely buy again. I can't think of another high-performance clincher I'd rather ride.

Traction and road feel are definitely improved, but I'm getting fewer miles from these than I did from the Pro2 Race.
