Weighing in at an impressive 290g, the Plasma SLR balances its low weight without giving up protection thanks to an ErgoProtec Carbon Fiber skeleton. This lightweight yet strong design allows massive HotRide ventilation ports to be placed throughout the shell, proving essential airflow during competitive events, as well as additional weight savings, without sacrificing structural integrity.

The unique shape is sure to turn a few heads out on the road, but the Plasma SLR's smooth lines offer more just than a futuristic look. They're part of the ErgoShape system, a structure designed using cranial mapping procedures to eliminate pressure points and contour a rider's anatomy. The exterior has also been optimized for aerodynamic efficiency, and the low profile design also helps keep the weight low.

The Plasma SLR carries the SSC mark of distinction, a label previously reserved for Mavic's most advanced wheelsets. It has a claimed weight of 290g (size M) and is available in Yellow/Black or Black.
