Meticulous engineering at a more attainable price. Mavic's Plasma Helmet borrows many features from the pro-level Plasma SLR with slightly heavier materials.

A durable ErgoProtec Alutex alloy skeleton keeps the weight reasonable, adding 70g over the carbon internals used in the SLR model. 20 oversized Clima Vent ports offer essential airflow during competitive events, as well as additional weight savings, without sacrificing structural integrity.

The unique shape is sure to turn a few heads out on the road, but the Plasma's smooth lines offer more just than a futuristic look. They're part of the ErgoShape system, a structure designed using cranial mapping procedures to eliminate pressure points and contour a rider's anatomy. The exterior has also been optimized for aerodynamic efficiency, the low profile design also helps keep the weight low and the removable visor makes the Plasma a great option for XC use as well.

The Plasma Helmet has a claimed weight of 290g in a size Medium. Available in Silver Metallic/White Pearl or Black/Silver Metallic.
