The Cosmic Carbone SR Clincher is new for 2011, picking up where last year's Cosmic Carbone Ultimate left off.

Like the entire Cosmic Carbone line, a 12K carbon section is bonded to a lightweight Maxtal alloy rim with a 52mm deep profile for incredible aerodynamics at a lower weight. Inter Spoke Milling removes excess material from the alloy section, furthering the weight reduction without sacrificing strength. As with previous models, the UB control milled braking surface offers exceptional all-weather performance, while SUP welded joints further overall durability.

What truly makes the SR model unique are the unidirectional carbon fiber bladed spokes which further lighten the load while simultaneously increasing stiffness and cheating the wind.

Mavic's FTS-L freehub body ensures efficient power transfer without weighing you down and coveted QRM+ bearings sweeten the deal with smooth performance and easy adjustability.

Shimano/SRAM 8/9/10 speed or Campagnolo 9/10/11 speed compatible. 700c (13-622 ISO). Weight: 1688 grams/set (weighed without skewers).
