The 2011 Cosmic Carbone SL gets a sleek new look and drops a few grams over last years model while maintaining all of its competition proven features. The 12K carbon section is bonded to a lightweight Maxtal alloy rim section with a 52mm deep profile for incredible aerodynamics at a lower weight than previous alloy materials. Inter Spoke Milling removes excess material from the alloy section, furthering the weight reduction without sacrificing strength. As with previous models the rim construction is optimized for light weight, aerodynamics and strength; UB control milled braking surface, and strong SUP welded joints. Straight pull bladed steel spokes further enhance the wheel strength and wind cheating design. Includes quick release skewers.
