I'm am not a hardcore racer or anything but I do like to attack hills and enjoy the payoff of exhilarating descent. I use these as a supplement to solid bars on long rides. Prior to an upcoming hill I pop one of these. It gives me the boost I need and it's way easier than chocking down a solid energy bar. Doesn't taste too bad either.
