This was an xmas gift for my sons, I bought a hero 2 and a hero 3, for both my sons. I have seen the film footage and its clarity and picture looks like it comes from a high end professional film crew camera and is outstanding for the price, considering that i have bought a professional high end canon film high def camera and the picture isn't even as clear. Its a waste of money to go anywhere else, if you are looking for action film footage and want a clear picture, this is the camera to use, no fuss and with a small learning curve to work the functions, beyond that, this is by far the best camera one can use, for personal or professional use, I highly recommend this camera.

We are new to the go pro . We were very impressed with the quality of the under water videos a friend had. Small, light weight and great video when diving. You would have to spend several thousand dollars on a camera with housing to get similar quality. You just have to buy a external light which is more than the go pro. But so worth it.
