The Focus Urban 8 is a tough as nails commuter, errand runner, and recreational vehicle with pared down style and bombproof functionality.
This bike is specially designed to take on the worst weather conditions in stride thanks to its belt drive and Shimano Alfine 8-speed internal hub. Unlike conventional chain and derailleur systems which are subject to rust and demand frequent adjustment, the Alfine belt drive can be ridden through snow, sleet and rain with little to no regular maintenance and perfect shifting performance -- season after season.
The Urban 8's hydraulic disc brakes are also all-weather friendly, delivering uncompromising stop power in wet or dry conditions. And, the German-manufactured aluminum frame helps keeps the weight down without giving up the durability needed for the rigors of daily city riding.
