Description No-holds-barred-aerodynamics. With the Chrono 1.0, Focus outfits their top-of-the-line Time Trial frame with the industry's most advanced wind cheating, featherweight equipment.
The German-engineered carbon frame uses a special Carbon Layup construction process which produces thinner tubes to reduce weight and increase stiffness throughout. The streamlined Walser aerodynamic shape slices the wind for a competitive advantage when every second counts. Highly compressed and strengthened Carbon dropouts shave weight over aluminum designs and reduce flex even more at this critical power transfer location.
Focus also uses internal cable tunnels to provide a clean a look, further aerodynamics, and increase torsional stiffness. A new seatpost design helps you dial in the perfect saddle position with 34mm of horizontal adjustment instead of the previous 16mm.
Component highlights include a SRAM Red drivetrain, TRP TT brakeset and Zipp 808 wheels.
The Izalco Chrono 1.0 is available in Black/Red with White accents.
