Description
Fizik's sleek Cyrano Carbon Seatpost offers unique features and easy adjustability at an impressive, race-worthy weight.
The clamp design is what really sets the Cyrano apart from other posts. Extensive product testing has revealed that most of the force exerted by the saddle is on the lower clamp. With this in the mind Fizik has reshaped the Cyrano's lower plate with a smooth radius to hold the rails snug without causing excessive stress points that lead to rail failure. The top clamp can thus be shorter with a lower profile to maximize rail fore and aft adjustment and stay clear of saddle flex especially with today's low profile saddles.
This design also maximizes angle adjustment (-5 to +20 Degrees) with a one-finger wheel adjuster for the front bolt making adjustments simple. The 3D forged alloy mast offers great strength without adding too much weight. Stainless steel hardware for long life. Designed to eliminate stress points on today's light weight tubular and carbon fiber rails. Works with standard 7mm round rails and oval rails up to 10.3mm in height.

I bought the Fizik Cyrano Carbon seatpost mainly because it was the only seatpost that would accomodate my Selle San Marco Carbon Mantra saddle. Since my purchase I have loved the seatpost, it feels like nothing is even there underneath me. It is very accessible to secure your saddle to, especially if you have a saddle that has a void in the center of the saddle.
